Dr. Alexander Hirsch is a practicing cardiologist and associate professor at the Erasmus MC, Rotterdam, The Netherlands. He specializes in cardiomyopathies and non-invasive imaging, with a focus on cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging. He is appointed to both the department of Cardiology and Radiology. He leads the cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging group, and his research is focused on cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging and cardiac CT and their application in clinical practice.
