Biography
Marcel van Straten studied Applied Physics at Delft University of Technology. His PhD project at the Academic Medical Center in Amsterdam focused on the application of image registration techniques in spiral CT. After that he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Medical Physics of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. He worked on the optimization and dosimetric aspects of CT. In 2008 he joined the Department of Radiology of Erasmus MC.
