Jovan Lovrenski was born in 1977. He attended paediatric radiology observerships in Graz (Austria), Philadelphia (USA) and Bergamo (Italy). He was invited speaker at a number of national and international congresses (ESPR, SPR, IPR, WFUMB, CUDA and PETRA), and was a visiting professor in Buenos Aires (Argentina) and Montevideo (Uruguay). He is mentoring both graduate and PhD students. Jovan Lovrenski was a president of the ESPR 2023 in Belgrade. He is a reviewer for some of the highest impact medical journals.
Expertise
Jovan Lovrenski is one of the pioneers of lung ultrasound in children. In 2021 and 2022 he was among 2% of top-cited scientists in the world according to the Stanford University (USA). He is chair of the Thoracic group of the Cardiothoracic Taskforce of the European Society of Paediatric Radiology (ESPR), member of the Education Committee of the ESPR, vice-chairman of the Asian-European Research Society for Pediatric and Neonatal Critical Ultrasound, ESPR representative in the World Federation of Pediatric Imaging, and local coordinator of CEEPUS.
